Itinerary
The eastern part of Thailand runs from just east of Bangkok on the way down to the Cambodian frontier at Hat Lek. The area encompasses the coastal provinces of Chonburi, Rayong, Chantaburi and Trat. It’s home to some of the country’s most stunning beaches, as well as some truly multicultural cities that are exciting to explore. It’s the most popular area for quality of fruits especially rambutans, mangosteen, durian and many more.
Koh Chang, Thailand’s second-largest island after Phuket in the south, is a popular island in this region/destination for beaches, coconut & palm trees and fishing villages which everyone would like to explore and have the beach holidays.
The following program is combined all highlights of destinations for visitors visiting the eastern Thailand.
Day 1 Bangkok - Koh Chang – Ban Salak Petch & Salak Kok Communities (L)
06.30 Transfer to Suvarnabhoumi Airport.
08.30 Take the flight PG304 to Trat
09.30 Arrival in Trat. Transfer by aircond. Vans (about 15 mins. Drive) to the pier and take the ferry to Koh Chang (about 30 mins.).
12.00 Lunch at Salak Petch Restaurant.
Pm Transfer to Ban Salak Petch Community visit “Ban Rak Kala”, the home for making coconut shell products, learn how to make your own souvenir from coconut shell. Local artisans are happy to teach you. Then visit Ban Salak Kok Community. Boat trip to observe mangrove forest in a very romantic atmosphere, operated by Salak Kok community. The trip will end with visiting unseen romantic viewpoints on time for beautiful sunset.
After that transfer to check in at Kacha Resort & Spa, located on the White Sand Beach. At leisure.

Day 2 Koh Chang – Boat Trip for snorkeling (B,L)
Am After breakfast at the hotel, take the boat trip for snorkeling for about a half-day in some small islands such as Koh Wai, Koh Laoya, Koh Klum, Koh Mannok.
Lunch at a local restaurant, then return to the hotel.
Pm Take leisure on beach.
Overnight at Kacha Resort & Spa in Koh Chang
Day 3 Koh Chang – Trat – Chantaburi – Chantabun Old Town (B,L,D))
Am After breakfast, take leisure.
Pm Transfer from Koh Chang to Chantaburi via ferry and air cond. Van.
On arrival in Chantaburi, visit the old Chantabun Community, located on the riverside. Then check in at D Varee Diva Rimnaam Chantaburi.
18.00 Dinner at the well known Chantorn Pothchana Restaurant.

Day 4 Chantaburi – Rayong – Ban Krasae Bon Community - Pattaya (B,L)
09.00 After breakfast, travel by van to Pattaya via Rayong.

Day 5 Pattaya – Suan Nong Nuch – Sanctuary of Truth – Takian Tia Community (B,L)
08.00 After breakfast visit Suan Nong Nuch, the world class of elegant tropical botanical garden collection of international plants in 50 natural gardens covering 1,700 rai as one of the top ten most beautiful gardens in the world.
11.00 Visit Sanctuary of Truth is made entirely of wood (without any metal nails) and commanding a celestial view of the ocean. The Sanctuary of Truth is best described as a visionary environment: part art installation, religious shrine and cultural monument. Constructed in four wings dedicated to Thai, Khmer, Chinese and Indian religious iconography, its architecture and setting is impressive.
Lunch and Krua Naklua (The Na Klua Kitchen) with see view of the Sanctuary of Truth.
Pm Ban Takian Tia Community, Bang Lamung District. Observe the twin, Thai traditional wooden houses, which set on 102 poles and listen to its story. Then biking to learn about people ways of life.
Late afternoon, transfer to Bangkok and check in at the Oriental Heritage Residence, located on Charoenkrung Road, near Chao Phraya River.

Day 6 Bangkok – Wat Pho – Jim Thompson’s House (B,L)
Am After breakfast travel to visit Wat Pho. Wat Pho houses the city’s largest & beautiful reclining Buddha, the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand and the country’s earliest center for public education. It’s also the national headquarters for the teaching and preservation of traditional Thai medicine, including Thai massage.
Pm After lunch, visit Jim Thompson’s House, observe the collection of old artifacts in beautiful Thai traditional houses. After that return to the hotel.
Overnight at Oriental Heritage Residence
Day 7 Bangkok – Damnoen Saduak & Lao Tak Luk Floating Markets (B,L)
09.00 After breakfast, travel to meet with our local guide then begin to walk on a charming walking trail that parallel with the Damnoen Sadauk Canal, a 32 km long canal where King Rama IV ordered to be dug in 1866 to connect the Mae Klong River with the Tacheen River for local people in four provinces (Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakorn, Ratchaburi and Samut Songkram) can use as a main water transport for trade and exchange their products. On this attractive walking route you can experience with a peaceful rural life of canal people, old wooden shop-houses that has its identity in architecture only for a canal side community, local agricultural crops and a beautiful temple of Wat Su where “Klong Lad Phli floating market” is located in which a chance to taste a finger-licking good of local snack before we arrive to the country’s first floating call “Lao Tak Lak Floating Market” a 150 years old wooden shop-house. Here at Lao Tuk Lak Community you will experience with the famous floating market “Damnoern Saduak Floating Market”, in another side.
12.00 Arrival at Mae Supa House. It’s time for lunch among a peaceful atmosphere of a canal side wooden shop-house.
After lunch, experience a typical various style of local snack wrapping by using banana leaves with one homemade cooking class of “Kanom Gluai” (banana steamed pastry). While waiting for the banana steamed pastry,
14.30 Return to the hotel in Bangkok.
