Treasures of Thailand - a soft adventure tour in Chiang Mai and beach holidays in Phuket and Koh Yao Noi island

Day1: Bangkok-Chiang Mai (-/-/D)

Am Arrival in Chiang Mai Airport . Meet and transfer to The Empress Hotel. At leisure.

Pm Travel by an air-cond. van to visit Wat Phrasingh, a temple where we can learn about Lanna arts style. Then visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep on Suthep Hill.

Khantoke Dinner (Northern style dinner). Overnight at Empress Hotel, decorated with beautiful orchids from the Royal Project.

Day2: Chiang Mai – Elephant Camp – Orchid Farm (B/L/-)

Am Breakfast at hotel. Full day tour to Mae Taeng. Visit the Elephant Camp and watch elephants show. Enjoy elephant riding into the beautiful valley of Mae Taeng for about 1 hour.

Then connected with ox-carting into Mae Taman Village for village tour. Buffet lunch at the Elephant Camp.

Afternoon, enjoy bamboo rafting on Mae Taeng River for about 1 hour. Then travel to visit an Orchid Farm before returning into the town of Chiang Mai .

Night walk at the Night Bazaar, the biggest handicraft center of Chiang Mai

Day3: Chiang Mai - Phuket (B/L/D)

Am Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for the direct flight to Phuket
On arrival in Phuket Airport. Sightseeing city – see the Chino-Portuguese building, visit Wat Chalong, and view 3 beaches from the Mountain Viewpoint. After that check into Karon Beach Resort & Spa

Evening: Sunset Dinner Cruise.

Day4: Phuket (B/-/-)

Day6: Koh Yao Noi – Island Hoping (Joint Tour) (B/L/-)

Am Breakfast at hotel.
Enjoy the island hoping tour (10.00 hrs.-15.00 hrs incl. lunch) – opportunities for snorkeling, swimming, and sun bathing
Overnight at The Paradise Koh Yao Boutique Beach Resort & Spa

Day7: Koh Yao Noi - Village Tour (Joint Tour) (B/L/-)

Breakfast. The tour to visit Yao Noi, the fishermen village (10.00 hrs.-15.00 hrs. incl. lunch)

10.00 hrs. Start from the resort by jeep or longtail boat(depending on weather conditions). Stop at a rubber plantation and learn how the islanders process latex into sheets of rubber. Continue

the ride through the rice fi elds and watch water buffaloes and local bird species.

Go shopping at local fruit and fish markets.

Lunch is at Pradu Seafood— here’s a chance to try authentic local food.

After visiting the markets, cruise around the island and arrive at Ta Kao Village where a

group of local women are decorating Thai silk with batik pictures. Take a look at what the local fishermen caught for the day and feel free to purchase something for dinner back at the resort.

Then we will have a full-day to explore the nature sites in Mae Taeng which includes exciting activities – elephant riding from the elephant camp to the beautiful valley of Mae Taeng , ox-carting, and bamboo rafting along Mae Taeng River . To Phuket by a direct flight and on arrival have a half-day sightseeing around the island and end with a very romantic dinner sunset cruise. The rest of the program will be at Koh Yao Noi (Yao Noi Island) for beach recreation – island hoping, snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, and village tour. It’s a very exciting, meaningful and relaxing one! .
